Scope of Works:
- Landfill re-engineering; bulk excavation of top 3m of landfill and re-compacting
- Cut and Fill
- Waste treatment for reuse onsite
- Surcharging
- Platform stabilisation
Dunton scope of works included development of a design solution for the former landfill, Cut/fill (including vegetation & topsoil strip), River Diversion Works, Onsite treatment of contaminated soils and waste, Ground improvement (dynamic compaction & surcharging).
Volumes included 1,600,000m3 of cut to fill, placement of over 800,000m3 of surcharge and, processing over 1,200,000m3 of waste containing soils for re-use onsite.
