Construction Works Finish On Programme – Jaguar Land Rover Castle Bromwich Project
Dunton Environmental have just successfully completed the stabilisation of earthworks formation, inside the existing “E” Block assembly building which is having its 2nd World War floors replaced, to meet the demands of the up and coming Jaguar XF assembling line replacement, at Jaguar’s Land Rover Castle Bromwich works.
The scope of works include the reduction of levels, backfilling of existing basements, stabilisation of formation layer and placement of Type 1 material to high tolerances, we achieved in order of +5mm/-5mm on the final levels.
Despite delays and set-backs the project team have worked days, nights and weekends to overcome some unfortunate delays in other activities, thereby ensuring Vinci have been able to maintain their critical slab placement programme.
