Welcoming Change by Embracing the Rm3 Model Through HSE

world

Here at Dunton Environmental we are undertaking a thorough and hands-on review of our business systems to ensure we are providing the best tools for our team. Through the review, we aim to carve a clear path for operations to run more smoothly and productively as well as engraining a safety-first environment in which our staff can work and grow.

Following the Management Maturity Model developed by the UK Railways, Dunton Environmental will spend the next 2 years completing a full-circle review of our systems which underlie the business and its day to day activities.

Dunton have already completed the first chapter in the review process which involved an examination of company policies. Policies are the heart of a business. Strong policies lead to strong leadership and strong safety systems. Dunton are already reacting to feedback from questionnaire responses which highlighted a need to relocate policies to make them more accessible as well as improving our IT system to aid access.

The Office of Rail and Road say ‘RM3 defines what excellence in risk management looks like and allows organisations to assure themselves that their risk management system is operating to an adequate standard. The model provides a route map to help them continuously improve towards excellence in health and safety management.’  Dunton Environmental strive for excellence in their health and safety, operations and management and are eager to act on the findings and recommendations suggested in the Management Maturity Model reports.

Dunton are excited to welcome improvements across the company over the next 2 years and beyond as the model continues in to its second and third round of reviews.
