Dunton Environmental is pleased to announce the opening of a new Soil Treatment Facility in Truro, Cornwall in partnership with Wheal Jane Ltd.

The new facility is permitted to process hazardous and non-hazardous contaminated soils, industrial wastes and dredging spoil for on-site reuse. The facility offers a sustainable alternative to landfill disposal with real commercial benefits as incoming wastes are not liable to landfill tax charges. A broad range of contaminants can be remediated to meet the re-use criteria, including hydrocarbons (petrol, diesel, oils, etc), heavy metals, asbestos and soils contaminated with Japanese Knotweed and other invasive plant species.
