Dunton Completes Remediation of Lead Contaminated Soils at Swindon

Dunton Environmental have just completed an innovative remediation solution of 9,500m3 of lead impacted topsoil at Tadpole Farm, Swindon, helping Crest Nicholson within a short programme to avoid unnecessary export of hazardous material to the landfill. Implementing Dunton’s in-house treatment products of heavy metals, Regener8-19 and Cementex, which targets the contaminants for reduction and induces an exchange reaction allowing the extraction of the contaminants from the soils but also significantly enhancing the encapsulation and stabilisation of heavy metals within soils matrix.
