Site Asbestos Remediation, Portsmouth – Case Study

Dunton has just completed works for a Midlands based civil and ground works company on behalf of a leading global discount supermarket. The new store located in Portsmouth opens in November 2017.

The works included the on-site treatment and disposal of over 1,000m3 of soil arisings impacted with licensed and non-licensed asbestos containing materials.
All works were undertaken in full compliance with the Health and Safety Executive and exemplary environmental protection measures.

The on-site solution focussed on de-classifying the waste stockpiles allowing for cheaper disposal options. The works provided our client a significant cost saving and were completed two weeks ahead of schedule.
